What are you involved in at SDHS?

“I am a member of our Student Council CORE, Key Club, Interact Club, Beta Club, and Student Government Association. I am also a Diamond Girl for our baseball team.  I really enjoy being the Lead Editor of our school’s newspaper as well!”

What has been your favorite thing about SDHS so far?

“I have loved being in Student Council my sophomore and junior year! It has helped me to be much more involved in our school and to help make it a better place. I have loved being in the newspaper this year, and I cannot wait to see what happens with it.”

Advice to underclassmen?

“Always do your best. Strive for the highest grade. Be involved in as much as you can at school. Make high school as fun as possible!”

What is your role as the Lead Editor of our school newspaper?

”I am the Lead Editor, so I find things for others to write about and edit what they write before it is posted on the website. I love going to the events to get pictures and a better perspective to help our groups. I am in charge of all of our social media. Check out our Instagram and Twitter @SDTrojanTribune!”

How is working with the school newspaper going so far seeing that this is the first year of the Trojan Tribune?

“It’s going as well as possible. I would love to see more people looking at our website and to be more involved on social media.”

Thank you so much, Anna, for your hard work and dedication to our school!
