Soddy Daisy V.S. Ooltewah @ Soddy Daisy🏐
On Thursday, September 2nd, our Lady Trojans took on the Lady Owls at home. We took Ooltewah to 4 sets and ended up coming out on top. It was a very special win that night because it was Coach Kohen’s birthday and because Ooltewah’s coach also happens to be her own mother. Nothing makes Coach Kohen happier than beating her own mother at volleyball. Who wouldn’t love a friendly but aggressive competition against their mother. The Lady Trojans won the first set, lost the second set, but they turned around and won the third. Finally they came together and won the last set taking the victory. It was a very suspenseful game to say the least, but the Lady Trojans pulled through and won in the end. Then after the game the team wished Coach Kohen a happy birthday and gave her a phenomenal present, which was an amazing way to end the night. She said that it was the best birthday that she had ever had. We can’t wait to see what else the Lady Trojans have in store for the rest of the season.
