Heather Berry is one of Soddy Daisy High School’s outstanding students this school year. She is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2021. Heather is attending Lipscomb University and plans to major in Finance.
When asked about her plans for the future and her time at Soddy Daisy High School, Heather stated, “I am so excited to be attending Lipscomb University in the fall and I currently plan to major in Finance, though I feel like I could end up switching to something else.
Quite honestly, my time at Soddy Daisy has been a little rough. I’ve been fortunate enough to have many great teachers and friends to help me get through it though. The best part of high school for me has definitely been Student Council Core. It was an amazing way for me to get involved in the school and meet a lot of great friends.
As I stated before, a few amazing teachers and incredible friends have helped me most while at Soddy Daisy High School. Without them, I don’t think I would have made it this far.
As for the future, I am looking forward to the endless opportunities I will have to grow as a person, meet new people, and find my passion in life. High school has been a struggle, but I am so eager to have a fresh start when I go to college. I’m also looking forward to attending college in Nashville because of all the people and the countless things there are to do. While the uncertainty of the future is a little scary, I am beyond excited to move on and begin my future.”
