Hamilton County Schools Announces Three New Principals

Hamilton County Schools has officially announced leadership changes in three schools, Soddy Daisy High School, Ooltewah High School, and Ooltewah Elementary School. All three schools will have new principals.

Angie Cass is replacing Steve Henry, who is retiring, at Soddy Daisy High School. She will be the high school’s first female principal. Angie Cass has been working as a teacher, district curriculum coach, assistant principal and principal in Hamilton County for 23 years. 

Karen Hollis is moving from being principal of Ooltewah Elementary School to Ooltewah High School. She has been working for Hamilton County Schools for 33 years. Karen Hollis has been a teacher, assistant principal, elementary operations director, and principal for the district. 

Bethanie Reynolds is becoming principal of Ooltewah Elementary school after previously being an assistant principal at the school. She has been working for Hamilton County for 14 years where she has worked as a teacher and an assistant principal.
