Hamilton County Planning to End Phase Tracker Use

So far throughout the 2020/2021 school year, Hamilton County has been using a ‘phase tracker’ to determine how students would attend school. The tracker ranged from Phase 1 to Phase 4 with the highest risk of spreading Covid- 19 being in Phase 1 and the lowest being Phase 4. By the week of March 15th, the phase tracker will no longer be in use.

Jennifer Bronson, Hamilton County’s Covid Response coordinator, stated, “March 16 will mark one year ago, was our school closure. It also marks the end of the third quarter, and by that point, 100% of our staff and contract employees will have had access to the vaccine” in regards to why Hamilton County is dropping the phase tracker.
