As reported by Golf Digest, “Tiger Woods was recovering from major surgery on his right leg Tuesday evening at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center after being involved earlier in the day in a “high-speed” single-car accident outside Los Angeles.”
He apparently has no memory of the crash. “At the hospital he was asked about it by the investigators and he had no recollection of the crash itself,” LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva told CNN. He was apparently unaware how badly he was injured.
His car rolled over on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes. He suffered major injuries on both legs but should recover after much needed physiotherapy rehabilitation.
