Groundhog Day is not cancelled this year, instead, like many other things during the pandemic, is becoming virtual. The Inner Circle of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club decided to move the celebration online to put the safety and health of Punxsutawney Phil’s fans first. There will be many ways to celebrate the holiday this year, the club is developing many different events that will be accessible from their website,

While people may not get to see the groundhog in person today, they can still have their picture taken on Know Stage. People can purchase a cut out of themselves that will be in the audience during the day’s festivities. The cutout will have a  picture taken on stage and can be signed by the members of the Inner Circle at no additional cost. These cutouts will be available for pickup at Punxsutawney until 2/2/2022 or can be shipped for an additional fee.
